Boz’s Clozet Consignment Policy and Agreement

HOW IT WORKS

Consignments for your gently used women’s clothing and accessories are made by appointment (262.643.4772).  We will review all items and determine which items we can consign based on our customer base and current inventory needs.  All items that are accepted will be entered into our inventory and you will receive 45% of the selling price once an item sells.

PAYMENT

Checks and statements will be mailed every other month (January, March, May, July, September and November) and issued on the 15th of that month.  $1.00 will be deducted from each check to cover mailing.

POLICIES

Consignments are by appointment and should be in ready-to-sell condition.  Clothes must be on hangers and dry-cleaned or laundered and should not have any stains, tears, missing buttons, odors etc.  Clothing must be in pristine condition and should not look worn or out of date.  Ideally, clothing is not more than 2-3 years old, unless it is vintage. Please limit your items to approximately 15 per week, unless you have made special arrangements.

We will determine the selling price and reserve the right to put merchandise on sale.  Pricing is based on brand, style, condition and demand.

Your consignment period will be from _________(acceptance date) until _________ (consignment conclusion date) and any clothes left one week after this period will become the property of Boz’s Clozet and may be disposed of at its discretion.  Consignors may notify Boz’s Clozet LLC if they wish to pick up items the last week of the consignment season and Boz’s Clozet will make every effort to pull any remaining inventory and have it ready for pick up within 7 days of the conclusion of the consignment period.  If left beyond the 7 days it becomes the property of Boz’s Clozet LLC.

We will do our best to safeguard your items but we are not responsible for loss or damage.
